CAT, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
Cat is a native of Marin County whose love of animals started early and never let up. She grew up in San Francisco and Marin with her parents and dog “sister”, a sweet black mixed-breed dog named Heidi. Then at age 6, she was gifted with a kitten of her very own. Ever since, life without at least one cat has simply not been an option.
After studying at the College of Marin, Cat headed to Oregon State University, where she earned a B.S. in Theater Arts. While her career eventually took her off the stage, it led her to something just as meaningful: veterinary medicine. She entered the field in 2006, became a licensed Veterinary Technician in 2010, and has since cared for pets and their people in both the Portland metro area and the San Francisco Bay Area. Along the way, she has built experience in general practice, specialty surgery, and oncology—bringing both skill and heart to every patient she meets.
At home, Cat is happily outnumbered by her four cats: Daphne, the dignified senior; Sampson, an orange gentleman; and twins Viola and Sebastian, who keep things interesting. When she’s not at work, you can usually find her sleeping, reading Jane Austen, or crocheting tiny toys and cozy blankets—often with cats very much involved in the process.
